So you’ve decide to start your MLM Blog. Congratulations! But if you’re staring at the blank screen not knowing what to write about for your MLM blog, you’re not alone. You either:

• Have no content to write about
• Don’t have enough expertise to write
• You simply suck at writing
• You don’t have enough facts to write about

The good news is: “It’s OK to be dork online” ESPECIALLY if you’re starting new. The truth is everyone was a dork at some point until they became well known. So don’t worry and start writing.

Here are 8 Ways to Find Content to Write About for Your MLM Blog:

1. Storytelling:

This consists of any story you might have heard about from your MLM company, your MLM sponsor, family, friends, business contacts through networking or your own story. Storytelling is very powerful as it relates people to you. It’s The #1 Secret to Grabbing Your Audience Attention. When you tell a story, you create a “relate-ability” factor between you and your readers. I do that a lot in my daily newsletter reflecting back on many things in my life.

2. Content Curation:

If you don’t have success yet in your MLM business that you can talk about in your MLM Blog, you can borrow others ideas (NOT plagiarize)…just borrow the idea and curate it into your own words. This writing technique requires you to link back to the main article or content you were writing about and always give credit to the author. Here is an example about 9 Tactics to Increase Your Facebook Interaction. You can see that I referred back to the original author and paraphrased the whole article with my words.

3. MLM Blogs:

The internet is full of MLM blogs and websites that you can read and learn from. A great way to do so is to subscribe to Google Alerts for MLM and Network Marketing which will give you a great deal of ideas of what to write about.

4. State Your Opinion:

MLM is one of the most controversial industries! Moderate a MLM conflict in your MLM blog. State the other opinion and your true honest opinion. Will everyone like it? NO! But that is OK because in your MLM blog, you’re building a tribe so go out and don’t be scared to moderate opinions.

5. Comment on Others:

If you read another MLM blog, MLM report or e-book, make a blog post about it and comment about it. This will draw attention to your blog even if it’s an opposing opinion. The Rule is: Create Enemies to Generate Traffic. Click on the link to learn how. When you read a conflict, pull data from all sides and write your views on the subject. You can find MLM debates in MLM forums and MLM blogs comments.

6. Interview a MLM Leader:

Your readers will always love to hear success stories! Interview one of MLM leaders and feature them on your MLM blog. You can do that in an article format, You Tube video or a podcast.

7. Write About Your Readings:

Did you read a great book recently that can benefit your readers? Write a book report. Feature the name of the book, the author and highlight the benefits of the book and how it helped you move forward to set your goals or action plan or change your mindset in your MLM business. Make sure to put the author’s picture and link back to your article. Reveal the Magic of “The Compound Effect” in Network Marketing is a book report that I wrote about Darren Hardy’s The Compound Effect. This is my FAVORITE book ever!! Amazing how the principles are so simple, yet hard but have a real magic behind it if execute it right.

 8. Write About Your Own Experience:

This is different than storytelling. So if you heard a piece of information from your upline, sponsor, business partner write about it. Maybe your MLM company puts a daily inspirational or informational call that can benefit others or you attended a meeting for a top speaker that you know it will be of a great help to the MLM community. Don’t be shy and share your inspirations, experience, hopes and dreams.
